What Materials Will I Need to Make These Doll Clothes?
You’ll need the following materials to make these doll clothes:
- A crochet hook (the recommended hook size for these patterns is 3.5mm / E – I use these ergonomic hooks for small projects like this))
- Small buttons (9mm)
- Worsted weight (4) yarn in a variety of colors
- Your favorite doll from the list below
Will These Doll Garments Fit 18-inch dolls?
These free doll clothes patterns were designed to fit the following amigurumi doll collection (click to view the free crochet doll patterns and tutorials):
Each crochet doll clothes free pattern uses a worsted weight yarn but if you made them with a bulky weight yarn, they could potentially fit 18-inch fashion dolls (like American Girl Dolls).  If you are an experienced crocheter, you could start a sample and then make adjustments as you go as all of the doll clothes can be tried on the doll as you go.
If you don’t want to make adjustments, you’ll have to look specifically for American Girl crochet patterns.
