I’m a crochet designer, author, and certified crochet instructor based in Ontario, Canada, where I live with my husband and our two kids. I started The Loopy Lamb in 2018 to share my passion for crochet, and it’s grown into a go-to resource for free patterns, step-by-step tutorials, and honest reviews that help crocheters build their skills and creativity.
Crochet has been a part of my life for years and it started as a stress-reliever and quickly became something I couldn’t imagine life without. Once I designed my first pattern, I was hooked (pun intended). Over time, I’ve created and published more than 200 free crochet patterns, ranging from adorable amigurumi to cozy wearables and accessories.
In 2023, I published my first book, Crochet Furry Friends, which is now available in North America and the UK. I also contribute to crochet magazines, teach crochet classes, and collaborate with some of the industry’s top brands.
Since then, I’ve gone on to write Publish It Yourself, a guide for makers who want to publish their own craft books, and Teaching Crochet, which helps yarn stores confidently offer crochet classes to grow their communities. My next book is coming soon and I can’t wait to share it with you!

When I’m not crocheting, you’ll usually find me reading fantasy novels, birdwatching (I especially love birds of prey!), or baking something sweet with my kids.
My goal is to make crochet accessible, inspiring, and confidence-boosting – one stitch at a time.
