About the Author

Patterns Included in Crochet Christmas Stockings
This booklet includes 10 unique stocking crochet patterns, each with its own fresh twist. From classic holiday color schemes to patterns featuring granny squares and even a fun Santa hat-inspired stocking, there’s something for every style of holiday spirit.
The patterns found in the book are called:
- Alpine Stocking
- Cable Stocking
- Homespun Stocking
- Jumbo Stocking
- Mitten Stocking
- Motif Stocking
- Santa Hat Stocking
- Starlight Stocking
- Striped Stocking
- Thick and Quick Stocking
I found the patterns to be relatively simple to follow and understand.
The patterns use mostly bulky and super bulky weight yarns and larger crochet hooks so they will work up quickly.
Crochet Terminology
All patterns use US crochet terminology, with a helpful list of abbreviations included on page 5. There is no conversion chart for those used to working with the UK terminology.
Skill Level
Although no official skill levels are assigned to the patterns, most designs fall into the easy to intermediate range. An adventurous beginner ready to learn new skills through online resources could tackle many of these delightful designs.
Supports Included for Makers in Crochet Christmas Stockings
This book does not include stitch tutorials or detailed technique explanations. However, Salena provides links to her websites in the Resource section on page 5, which is where makers can search for easy lessons for various stitches and techniques.

Overall
This booklet is a nice collection for anyone who loves crocheting Christmas stockings or would like to create custom crochet stockings to match their holiday color scheme. While the lack of in-depth supports might make it challenging for absolute beginners, the designs are accessible and inspiring for those who are already familiar with basic crochet techniques.
