It has been a crazy couple of weeks!  It’s been so busy with the 30 Days of Cozy promotion going on and right in the middle of the promotion, my husband had a business trip to Halifax and I’ve been alone with both kids.   I’ve also been working away on a few new patterns for you as well so stay tuned!  This week I have a crochet fingerless gloves free pattern to share with you called Mommy’s Go-To Fingerless Gloves.

My awesome husband brought me back this beautiful yarn from his trip.  It’s made by the Mineville Wool Project which is a local Halifax yarn dyer.  I’m so lucky that he supports my crazy yarn addiction.  I can’t wait to get my hooks into these babies.  If you have any suggestions on what I should make with this yarn, leave me a comment below.  I’m having a hard time deciding!

I must confess: I lose A LOT of gloves.  I’m almost on par with my little one who loses mittens almost as fast as I can make and buy them.  I must also confess that I am a little particular when it comes to my gloves.  I don’t like the tops of the gloves to be too long because they can sometimes stretch out and look sloppy.  My preference is fingerless gloves so I can zip up zippers, tie up shoes and text with ease.

So Mommy’s Go-To Fingerless Gloves were born out of my need for a cute and quick pair of fingerless gloves.  They are super quick to make so you can replace those lost gloves in a flash but you don’t have to substitute your cuteness factor.  This is also a beginner friendly pattern.  If you sell your crochet, these are great since you can make a pair in well under an hour.  The pattern is easily adaptable so if you need/want the tops or bottoms to be a bit longer, just add a few rows.  So without further ado, let’s get to that pattern!
