Gansey Style Crochet Afghan Review & Giveaway

Who doesn’t love a good crochet magazine? Especially one that’s filled with beautiful crochet projects and fun techniques? I know I personally can’t resist picking them up when I see them on the shelves. Today we’re checking out the Summer 2021 edition of Crochet! magazine and Thanks to our friends at Annie’s Craft Store, I have a digital copy of Crochet! Summer 2021 to giveaway to one lucky winner. Crochet! magazine is honestly, one of my favourite crochet magazines to pick up. I always find a few projects I want to make and learn new techniques and stitches at the same time. I was excited to check out the Summer 2021 Crochet! edition because I loved the top on the front. Pineapple lace is not normally my thing but I really loved it in this design by Rohn Strong.

The Summer 2021 Crochet! edition has 19 different crochet patterns in it. There is a nice mix of project sizes inside as well which is always a plus for me because even though I tend to pick these magazines up because I love the garment designs, I don’t always have time to tackle big projects. The Aztec Earrings in this edition of Crochet! are the perfect project for me when i want to crochet something pretty yet quick at the same time.

The projects in the Summer 2021 Crochet! edition are:

• 5 different garment patterns
• 4 blanket patterns
• A crochet basket pattern
• A market bag pattern
• 4 crochet jewellery patterns
• A scarf pattern
• A shrug pattern
• A shawl pattern
• A pattern for a hotpad and dishcloth

The crochet garment patterns in this edition of Crochet! Magazine include a great range of sizes with is great. Most of them include sizes up to at least 3XL. The patterns are accessible for a variety of skill levels and most of the materials used are from familiar brands that are easily obtained.

I really enjoyed this edition of Crochet! magazine and will definitely be making time to get a couple of the projects in this magainze on my hooks this summer.
