Large Print Crochet Puzzle Fun Book Review and Giveaway

When I need moments of quiet time but am not able to reach for my crochet hooks, I love to do puzzles.  So when Debbie Deitke, creator of Large Print Crochet Puzzle Fun reached out to me and asked if I would be interested in checking out her latest puzzle book created for fiber artists I quickly agreed.

Today I’ll share my book review of Large Print Crochet Puzzle Fun and I’ll be giving away a copy of this book to one lucky winner. So keep reading to find out how you can enter to win.

The concept of a crochet activity book is really fun and is a perfect way for the most passionate crafters to sneak in a little bit of crochet without needing a crochet hook.  I love puzzles so adding in crochet to that just makes it more fun.

Crochet Puzzle Fun is a 108-page book full of 150+ crochet themed puzzles.  The puzzle types include:

  • word searches,
  • number puzzles like sudoku
  • word scrambles,
  • logic puzzles like nonograms and logic grids
  • picture puzzles like spot the differences and find the hidden objects,
  • word puzzles like crosswords, cryptograms
  • mazes

Most puzzles come with detailed instructions for how to complete the puzzle so even if it’s your first time doing that sort of puzzle, you can quickly get to work.

The large print in the book makes it easy to see, though some puzzles had smaller print which could prove a bit tricky for someone who absolutely needs to have that large print.

As with most activity books, you can find the puzzle solutions at the end of the book to either check your work (or get a sneak peek should you get stuck).

Overall, this was a fun book that I think would make a great gift to give to a crochet enthusiast, I personally took mine with me on holiday recently and it was great to have a big puzzle book with me.

The puzzles were simple enough that my children were able to assist with some of them (like the picture puzzles and mazes) and it was a fun activity to do together (which also introduced them to some crochet terms and other fun things).
