I found the patterns to be accessible and easy to understand, especially after taking the time to read through pages 4 through 14 which walk you through how to understand mosaic crochet charts and different things you need to know before diving into the patterns.

The designs in this book are stunning! These projects are surprisingly approachable despite how complex they may look. Comprised of single crochet, double crochets and chain spaces, these patterns are deceptively simple. They make me want to turn a blind eye to my pile of wips and start making all of the patterns in this book instead.

All the designs come with a color work chart, which is helpful to follow. Instructions on reading these charts is included in the front of the book and very helpful.

One thing I loved about the designs is that the stitch multiple is included for all of the designs. So if you want to use that pattern in a different size or with a different yarn weight, the designer enables you to do that with ease. So if you see a throw you love and you want to make a shawl instead, you have the tools to do so.
